Children
We encourage families to worship together in church and welcome children of all ages into worship. During the worship service, the pastor or other church teacher will typically have a "children's sermon" -- a time of the service devoted specifically to the children in attendance. Following the children's sermon, children ages 3 + are invited to participate in children's church -- a separate are of the building where children will build crafts and learn the lesson of the day in an age-tailored environment. Additionally, a children's worship bulletin for the day's service, including a coloring page, connect-the-dots, and other fun activities is available every Sunday.
A church nursery is staffed by volunteers and available to children and infants under the age of 3. The nursery is located in the educational wing of the building, near the main office.
A separate "crying room" is located in the balcony of the sanctuary, available for use by anyone with small children. This room is equipped with windows and a speaker system to allow participation in the worship service and is funished with changing table, rocking chair, and various children's toys. This room is not staffed by church personnel; children should not be left unattended in this room.
